Interested in getting started with beekeeping? Wondering if keeping bees is for you? Join us for a presentation and discussion on the basics you need to know to get started keeping bees in your own backyard (for hives that start in the Spring).
Instructor Kate Steck has been a beekeeper for nine years and is passionate about providing newcomers with the information they need to become successful and responsible beekeepers. This class will cover just the basics: benefits of beekeeping, information on the honeybee, best practices and location for hives, and the equipment you need to get started.

Please note: This program will follow all State and CDC Guidelines regarding social distancing and face masks. Program size is limited.
