Qigong itself is not a martial art, but rather a broader Chinese practice for cultivating, activating and harmonizing your energy (qi) – your inner energy or life force – to support vibrant health, balance, martial arts training and graceful aging.   This gentle form of exercise composed of repeated flowing movements combined with rhythmic breathing, opens the body, improves balance and builds awareness of how your body moves through space. Appropriate for all ages and abilities.  Participants should be able to stand for up to one hour, but chairs will be available for those who need them.About Joan Licensed Massage Therapist, practicing in Doylestown since 2013 Certified Qigong Instructor since 2016 (trained with Robert Peng and Dr. Yang Yang) Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor since 2000 (Saraswati River Yoga School)
